In memory of our dear founding board member Mr. Keith Yeung, who passed away on July 6th 2022, the Vision Youth Leadership Program has established a scholarship fund in his honour.
The Keith Yeung Memorial Scholarship honors Keith Yeung’s legacy by helping youth access meaningful leadership opportunities through the Vision Youth Leadership Program.
This scholarship is designed for applicants who demonstrate leadership potential, commitment to personal growth, and financial need.

Scholarship Details
Two scholarships of $1,000 are currently available each year
The scholarship is applied as a credit toward Vision Youth program fees
The scholarship is not redeemable for cash
Recipients must enroll in both the Outdoor Leadership Program and the Interpersonal Skill Development Program
Scholarship availability and value may change depending on funding and program costs
Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
Be eligible for the Vision Youth Leadership Program
Demonstrate financial need
Show a strong interest in leadership development and personal growth
How to Apply

Your application must include a short essay of 500 words or fewer explaining:
Why you are applying for financial assistance
Why you should be considered for the scholarship
What you hope to gain from the Vision Youth Leadership Program
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee made up of members of the Vision Youth
organization. The committee may include:
One Board Member
One Counselor
One Board-appointed Advisor and/or a representative of Keith Yeung’s family
Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend an interview.
Scholarship Award
Successful applicants will receive a $1,000 credit toward Vision Youth program fees and must enroll in both required program components.
Recipient Announcement
Successful applicants will be contacted directly. Scholarship recipients may also be featured on the Vision Youth website or in other official communications.
